BRAUW is a purebred city brewery, located in the beating heart of Genk. Our own beers have a strong link to local heritage and Limburg icons. We brew in the artisanal way and in doing so, we want to show our passion and creativity to the world. But we move on. Because encouraging support for your professionalism is at least as important to us.
Our brewery is all about passion for brewing and for beer. Beer is an honest product in which you can put a lot of creativity. We always stay true to our typical “basic” style, paying attention to the local.
The name BRAUW is, of course, primarily a nod to brewing itself. But you’ll also find the word RAW, referring to the simple techniques we use. In addition, the surprising and creative aspect – and certainly our craftsmanship – are likely to spontaneously evoke “WOW! 😉
Finally, BRAUW is there for you, which represents the supportive part of the concept. BRAUW is all about YOUR craftsmanship as a hobby brewer.
